Working principle

The working principle of the radio frequency admittance level switch is based on radio frequency (RF) capacitive technology. A radio frequency is applied to the probe and, through continuous analysis, the effects caused by the surrounding environment are determined. Since all materials have a dielectric constant and their conductivity is different from that of air, when the probe is in contact with the material, the total impedance reflected by the small capacitance shift changes. Because the energized probe and the container wall constitute the two polar plates of the capacitor, the insulator of the probe and the surrounding air become the dielectric material, when the air (whose dielectric constant is 1.0) is replaced by any other material (the dielectric constant > 1), The capacitive effect is enhanced, thus changing the impedance of the application. That is, the change of capacitance value causes the change of impedance. This effect is measured by the circuit and compared to the reference established by the sensitivity setting (circuit).
The correct setting of the sensitivity of the RF admittance level switch will affect the correct change of the sensor output. The Null-KoTeTM circuit of the probe can make the measurement circuit ignore the material accumulated on the probe. Otherwise it will cause the failure of sensitivity. The Null-KoTeTM circuit is excited with the same radio frequency potential applied to the sensing probe. Since current cannot flow at the same potential, the Null-KoTeTM circuit interrupts the flow of current that would normally flow from the energized probe through the bulk material to the vessel wall. This measures the material around the energized probe, not the accumulated material.

Design features

Strong versatility: It can be applied to the measurement of various conductive and non-conductive media, such as liquids, viscous substances, particles, powders, and fly ash.
Anti-adhesion: The patented anti-adhesion circuit can eliminate false signals caused by material adhesion.
The probe is detachable: There is no cable connection between the controller and the probe, and the controller can be removed and replaced at any time for maintenance without affecting the incoming and outgoing materials.
High and low temperature resistance: Suitable for working environment from -184°C to 280°C, and ceramic probes suitable for higher temperatures are also available;
Output form: Double-pole double-throw relay signal output, at the same time there is a status light to display the output status, and a delay function of 0 to 30 seconds.
Intelligent diagnosis: After the power is turned on, the instrument circuit automatically detects whether the working state is normal.
